Level 80 Human Warrior - Fury DPS, Protection - Blacksmithing/Jewelcrafting, also fairly high secondary skills inc master first aid.
Roleplaying experience and activity:
Largely lawful good alliance side RP as a former infantryman turned mercenary leader with my guild the Lordaeron Veterans, which presently is mostly IRL friends and family. Was very active in RP in the run-up to the release of WOTLK, but then got very caught up in enjoying all the new content and RP kind of went on the back burner. Still generally play and particularly speak in-character, and am too attached to my Guild and its pre-wotlk RP activity to ever consider leaving.
PvE experience:
Very successful Tank in the full gamut of heroics, have tanked in some 10 and 25 man raids a few months ago but raiding group I was part of fell apart, and haven't yet found a new raiding home. My raid bosses down include some early Naxx 10 and Ulduar 10 bosses as Tank as well as the old VoA 10 and 25 bosses and Sartharion 0D 10 and 25, and since picking up a fury DPS spec recently have cleared the newer 10 and 25-man VoA bosses.
Guild activity:
Lordaeron Veterans: I founded this RP guild in early TBC, and at our height we sported a good number of members, but presently are largely IRL friends and family. We hold regular heroic runs and are considering starting 10-man raids again in the future, in addition to providing support and assistance to one another in a friendly, roleplay-oriented atmosphere.
Reason for joining the Fifteenth Dusk:
Keen to meet some new players, and would like to clear some 10 and 25 man content without leaving my guildmates without their GM! Also, my raiding experience is fairly limited, but I've really enjoyed that which I have done and would like to do some more.
Brief description of your character and his/her concept:
Sgt John Chauncey - former infantry squad leader active during the Scourge invasion of Lordaeron. His unit was largely wiped out following a betrayal by a superior officer, after which Sgt. Chauncey and his right-hand-man Corporal Charlemagne (IRL friend who's sadly quit the game because of childcare commitments) organised a mercenary band under a special Alliance mandate to conduct guerilla operations in former Alliance lands. Chauncey's a driven, determined soldier with a grudge and a strong moral imperative.
